Maranta -Lemon Lime
Maranta
These Maranta often referred to as Prayer Plants, along with their closely related cousins Calathea are amazing plants to watch. With three varieties in stock, it'll be hard to choose which one to buy (see other listings). Maranta leaves have the unusual characteristic of lying flat during the day and then closing upwards at night as if in prayer. This Lemon Lime variety is the rarest of the three and has more of a neon stripe appearance as opposed to a red stripe but they are so special you'll be amazed just how beautiful they are in person!
How to care for your Maranta
Water: Watering about once a week and then allowing to dry to about half way down is best.
Light: Maranta grow best in bright light, but will tolerate shade. If exposed to direct light, their leaves will fade in colour intensity and often develop blotches or patches.
Humidity: Brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low, they love a mist or a bathroom and prefer rain water.
Temperature: They enjoy warmth, about 20 degrees C.
