Clivia miniata-Bush lily

These gorgeous Clivia, with their water fountain leaf formations in a dark, deep green are gorgeous for a bright windowsill. Loving lots of light and some direct and also flowering with the most vibrant orange bell shaped blooms, they make amazing gifts and a treat for an eye catching window sill.

How to care for your Bush lily 

Water: Watering about once a week to 10 days in summer and slightly less in winter. Wait until soil is dry to about 2/3” deep.

Light: Grown best in bright light and can cope with some direct early summer sun. If exposed to too much direct midday light, their leaves will fade in colour and often develop blotches, dry edges or patches or can redden. 

Humidity: Brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low, they love a mist or a bathroom and prefer rain water.

Temperature: They enjoy warmth, about 16-20 degrees C.
