Aspidistra- Cast Iron Plant
Aspidistra are an age old house plant found written into books and old film as far back at the 17th Century. Know as the Cast Iron Plant, they are pretty foolproof making them great for beginners. They adapt to all levels of light (not full direct sun) and can tolerate slight over and under watering. Rarer to find these days but perfect for a houseplant lovers collection. Fun Fact!! This plant was my VERY FIRST plant, you could say it start my journey into the hobby!
How to care for your Cast Iron Plant
Water: Likes to have moist soil at all times.
Light: Happy in indirect light to semi shade.
Humidity: Regular humidity is sufficient.
Temperature: They enjoy warmth, about 20 degrees C.
