Aglaonemas grow wild in the tropical rainforests of SouthEast Asia and make fabulous houseplants for semi shady forgotten corners or somewhere with indirect light. The 'Strawberry Baby' is one for the lovers of colour. Stunning coral red and pink mottled leaves, with a green border in an ovate shape. This tropical perennial is renowned for its easy care qualities and many varieties have brightly patterned leaves. Please keep these away from draughts.
How to care for your Aglaonema
Water: Watering about once a week and then allowing to dry to about 2 cm down is best.
Light: Grown best in indirect light to semi shade. Rule of thumb, the more colourful leaf varieties need a little more light to encourage colour. If exposed to direct light, their leaves will fade in colour intensity and often develop blotches or patches.
Humidity: Brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low, they love a mist or a bathroom and prefer rain water.
Temperature: They enjoy warmth, about 16-20 degrees C. Keep away from draughts.
